Discover The Dunes Beaches
Before you go make sure you understand that you will be sharing a neighborhood and you must park in the designated head-in parking areas. The Dunes Beaches are located behind the Dunes of West Beach Neighborhood, and have two access points from within the neighborhood. The drive and subsequent walk to the beach will be well worth the trip to a secluded and much quieter part of the beach. Please do be mindful and careful that there are also rattlesnakes in the area, as the signs warn, so make sure to keep a watchful eye of where you walk.
The Dunes Beaches are near Galveston Island State Park, a wetlands area and popular bird sanctuary, providing a beautiful and natural backdrop for the community. All of the homes in The Dunes of West Beach are single-family residences, and there are a variety of rentals available on the beach.
