Discover Diamond Beach

Take the seawall as far as you can going West and you will run right into Diamond Beach. Diamond Beach is where the seawall ends and the sand begins. Access to parking is right where Termini-San Luis Pass Rd and Seawall Blvd meet. You can park along Seawall Blvd and access the stairs to the pink granite taken from Marble Falls over 130 years ago. These are the same granite blocks used to for the jetties you see along the seawall, such as at the 61st St Fishing Pier. Other jetties along the seawall can be seen near 59th St, 53rd St, 39th St., and the Galveston Jetty at 10th St. among others.

Galveston Seawall at Diamond Beach

Also known as the City of Galveston Beach Access Point #4, Diamond Beach now has a condo with a lazy river and pool, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There are stairs along the parking area that you can access to fish from the seawall. You can also access the beach via a trail, which is just down the ramp at the end of Seawall Blvd, next to the ADA Compliant handicap parking spots. The trail may be a little precarious, so take caution when walking with those less sure of their steps, or while carrying any necessary beach gear. There are no public showers and no public restrooms at Diamond Beach so plan accordingly for your day at the beach. If you are looking for a place to stay, Diamond Beach Condos are located just steps away.

Pet Friendly

Most Galveston beaches welcome you and your pet. There’s no need to leave your four-legged friend behind when you can enjoy a day at a pet-friendly beach. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times and respect those around you. Make sure you properly dispose of your pet’s waste to keep the beach clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Parking Fee

Parking is hourly and you can pay by phone with the app. Galveston offers a Seawall Parking Pass for $45 which gives you an entire year of unlimited seawall parking. You can purchase a Seasonal Beach Parking Pass for $50 which gets you into East Beach, Stewart Beach, Dellanera RV Park, and West End Pocket Parks. If you are visiting a lot, and we hope you are, then the Ultimate Beach Parking Pass is something to consider. For $95 you get unlimited parking along Seawall Blvd plus entry to the beach parks mentioned above. Ask them about Active Military Discounts.
