Family Fun
With seven different batting cages there is enough fun for everyone! Whatever your speed they have a cage to fit your need. Four of the cages are designated for baseball and each is rated with its own pitching speed. There are also three cages designated for softball. All of the softball cages are designated as slow pitch softball.
Feed the Turtles
Situated just behind the Batting Cages Hut is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. You can buy turtle food for just $1.00 at the Hut and sit outback by the lake and feed the turtles. It’s a great way to unwind after an exhilarating experience at the Batting Cages.
Cool Off with shaved ice
Step into the Magic Carpet Cool Zone at Hurricane Cowboy Shaved Ice, grab your favorite flavor of shaved ice, and relax from a hard-fought round of golf. They have so many flavors to cool you off that everyone will find something delicious. They have ice cream, sodas, and assorted Gatorade flavors as well.

Galveston Batting Cages Rules
- All Batters Must Use Protective Helmets at all Times!
- If Machines are Pitching Out of the Strike Zone Immediately Alert the Attendant.
- Only One Person in the Cages at a Time During Play. Coaching Must be done Outside of Cage.
- Do Not Swing Bat Outside of Cages.
- Do Not Stand on Plate at Any Time While Machine is Pitching. Never Let Your Hands Extend Over Plate.
- No Switch Hitting During Game.
- Batters Must Wear Shoes. (No Steel Cleats Allowed)
- These Machines Throw Balls and Strikes. Players Should *BE ALERT* at All Times.
- Do Not Crowd or Stand Too Close to the Plate.
- Watch for Balls Rolling Under Feet.
- No One Under the Ages of 6 Permitted to Use Cage.
- No One Under the Age of 16 Permitted to Use Very Fast Cage.
- Batters Under the Ages of 10 Must Be Supervised By an Adult.
- No Person Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol is to Use These Cages.
- Report All Accidents Immediately.
