Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston Opened in 2005 and has been delighting and cooling off guests ever since. Schlitterbahn Galveston offers some of the most thrilling water attractions around, and even has a record-breaking 81-foot-tall tube slide. Three Parks of Interconnected Fun
Schlitterbahn Galveston is divided into three separate parks, all of which have their own theme and are interconnected by their Transportainment River System. This allows guests to float throughout the entire park without ever leaving the river. Wasserfest, Blastenhoff, and Surfenburg each have their own themes as well as rides ranging from Low Impact to Aggressive so no matter which one you are in there is something for everyone to enjoy.
BLASTENHOFF
Tube Slides
MASSIV
As the name implies, this is one massive tube slide and labeled Aggressive accordingly. After climbing 123 stairs you will be over 81 feet in the air atop a record-breaking water coaster. From there you will travers twists, turns, dips, and drops along 926 feet of slide while the slide itself creates an awesome light show. A triple-drop ending will keep you coming back for more. You must be at least 48” tall to ride.
Whitewater River
Part of their Transportainment River System, Whitewater River takes your through awesome whitewater rapids. It connects to Kristal River and Torrent River so you can just keep floating. The ride is labeled High on the impact scale but is suited for most ages with proper equipment (lifejacket) and accompanying adult.

Screaming Serpents
Rated as Aggressive, this water slide will send your hurling back and forth through fog and light effects inside two giant sea serpents. If you are lucky, you will exit the fanged mouth with a splash and escape the belly of the beasts. You must be at least 48” tall to ride.
Mat Slides
Infinity Racers
Grab your matts and race headfirst down eight stories on this Aggressive rated matt slide. The slides are almost fully enclosed, and riders are treated to an awesome lighting effect form the multicolored fiberglass enclosure. You must be at least 42” tall to ride.

Tube Slides
Guada Loopy | Loopy Luge
Prepare for some fun on this High rated tube slide for two. Riders will start 40 feet in the air and travel over 390 feet while twisting and turning in the dark. You must be at least 42” tall to ride.
Torrent River
As part of the Transportainment River System, Torrent River is as implies, a river of giant waves breaking all around you. It is rated as High and guests must be at least 42” tall to ride alone and can ride with an adult if they are under 42” tall.
Body Slides
ROHR!
Get ready for a thrill on this Aggressive rated body slide that will send you soaring off a 70-foot-tall tower and travel at over 30 mph and 244 feet. You must be under 300lbs and over 48” tall to ride.
Faust Und Furious
Starting from 60 feet up you will travel down one of two 300-foot speed slides on this Aggressive rated body slide. You must be under 300lbs and over 48” tall to ride.

SURFENBURG
Tube Slides
Dragon Blaster
Two riders are propelled up and down on two different slides using Schlitterbahn’s patented “Master Blaster” technology that they use to propel you uphill with jets of water. The Dragon Blaster is rated as Aggressive and you will drop 20 feet before you race through tunnels, twists, turns, and dips. You must no heavier than 250lbs each and be at least 42” tall to ride.
Thunder Tub
Up to three people can spin down a series of exciting drops and end with a big splash in the shallow pool below. Riders must have a combined weight of no more that 400lbs and at least 42” tall to ride unaccompanied. Riders can be between 30” and 42” if accompanied.
Wolfpack
Up to three people can ride through twists and turns down this fast-flowing family-friendly water adventure, ending in with a splash in the shallow pool below. Riders must have a combined weight of no more that 500lbs and at least 42” tall to ride unaccompanied. Riders can be between 30” and 42” if accompanied.
Kristal River
A truly lazy river winding around the entire Surfenburg Area. Sit back and relax as you float through calm waters and easy currents while you relax and soak up the sun. You can also get to any other part of the park since the Kristal River also ties into the Transportainment River System, taking you anywhere in the park. You must be at 42” tall to ride unaccompanied, and can ride with an adult if you are under 42” tall.

Beachside Relaxation
Relax on Krystal beach while you watch the soothing waters go by on the Krystal River. The beach is a man-made beach area (not made of sand) where visitors can relax and soak up the sun.
Private Cabanas
Get the most out of relaxation with one of Schlitterbahn’s Private Cabanas. Each Cabana includes a personal host, a private shaded area, personal safe, bottled water, table and chairs, and a 10% discount on select in-park food, beverage, and merchandise.
PLEASE NOTE: Your cabana is reserved only on the day you select during the reservation process. Please verify the reservation date prior to completing your transaction.

Wave Pool
Play in the waves of Shipwreck Harbor Wave Lagoon where visitors can enjoy the feeling of being in the ocean and play in the three-foot ocean-like waves as they push you to shore. This wave-action pool is always a blast.
Kiddie Areas
Schlitterbahn Galveston Island also has several areas specifically designed for younger children, including the Tiki Tikes Kid’s Area, Treasure island Kid’s Area, Shipwreck Harbor Kids Area, Wasserfest Kid’s Area, and Torrent Beach Kid’s Area.
