The Grand Galvez Description

The Grand Galvez, the only historic beachfront hotel on the Texas Gulf Coast, is named after Bernardo de Galvez, who surveyed the area in 1786. A visit to Galveston would be incomplete without a stay at the Grand Galvez, widely regarded as the best hotel on the island. Despite its rich history, the Grand Galvez has all of the contemporary conveniences that visitors have come to expect. Galvez Bar & Grill offers onsite dining as well as a fully equipped fitness center, a world-class spa, a heated pool, a seasonal swim-up bar, cabana rentals, and other amenities. Throughout their visit, guests may make use of our free Wi-Fi, pet-friendly accommodations, and helpful, multilingual staff.

Dogs can get sunburned so check out some safety guides for taking your dog to the beach to make sure everyone has the best time possible.
