A Beach Resort Right on the Sand
Should you decide you prefer water a little closer to your hotel, if that’s possible, plunge into our outdoor infinity pool and gaze across the sandy beach to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. If warm bubbles are more your speed, then slip into the hot tub attached to the pool and relax to your heart’s content.
The hotel resort also sports a basketball court, volleyball court, an activity center with air hockey, foosball, Pac-Man™, and a claw machine. They also offer special activities like kite building and flying and daily movie nights.

If you don’t want to leave the resort, then just across the way is Tipsy Turtle Seaside Bar & Grill. They offer an assortment of shareables, sandwiches, and baskets, along with beer, wine, liquor, and Jell-O Shots!
Should you want to venture out for a drink, Woody’s Beach Bar offers beautiful views, cold drinks, and live music. Be aware, however, that they do not serve food. You could stop right across the street at Cooper’s Landing first for some surf and turf and enjoy the view of the Gulf from their patio.

If your travels do involve leaving your resort, there are plenty of places on Galveston Island that are well worth seeing. Some of the most popular destinations are The Historic Strand District, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and Pleasure Pier, just to name a few.
