Gaido's Seaside Inn Description

If you are staying on one of the many rooms offering a Gulf view you can survey the beach and pick your spot for relaxing and playing all day. Grab your lounge chair, umbrella, and bucket, and head across the street. The warm water awaits. Weather permitting, you can walk just down the beach to Beach Service LLC Jet Ski Rentals and really feel the salt water in your face. They also have chair and umbrella rentals for the day. Check water conditions on our Beaches FAQ page as they cannot operate during Red Flag Conditions. If you want to take a drive, or a surrey ride from Joy Bike Rental & Gift Shop, you can head down to Porretto Beach and Stewart Beach. They also have chair and umbrella rentals, and you can venture out on a jet ski ride there too.

Located on-site are both Gaido’s Seafood Restaurant, offering the freshest Gulf seafood, as well as steak and pasta dishes, and Nick’s Kitchen & Beach Bar, serving fresh seafood, juicy burgers, and the fattest po’boys on Galveston Island. You can also head over to The Historic Strand District for some more local cuisine from places like Yaga’s Café and Shark Shack, or drinks from Brews Brothers or Patrick’s Bar. After dinner, stop into La King’s Confectionery and peruse their candy counter, watch their taffy demonstrations, and try not to overindulge in their award-winning treats. Belly up to the bar and enjoy an old-fashioned soda fountain drink or a delicious malt.
