Special Requests
Special meals are available including low-fat, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, low/no sodium and low/no cholesterol meals, as well as sugar-free and fat-free desserts. Kosher meals are available on all ships and itineraries and must be requested at least 90 days prior to sailing for European and South American itineraries, and at least 45 days in advance for all other itineraries. Kosher for Passover meal requests must be received at least 90 days in advance in order to be accommodated.

Club Balcony Suite

Convenient proximity to the Spa and Fitness Center is available, with complimentary access to the Thermal Suite during standard operating hours. The Spa suite accommodates up to three guests and offers room sizes spanning from 208 to 540 square feet. Balconies for these suites vary from 32 to 86 square feet. Amenities encompass complimentary Thermal Suite access, round-the-clock room service, a hot tub in The Haven Spa Suite, an oversized waterfall shower, and a serene spa-inspired ambiance (available in The Haven and Club Balcony Suites).

The Inside suite accommodates up to 4 guests, with room sizes varying from 135 to 201 square feet, and offers the convenience of 24-hour room service.
Studio
Tailored for solo travelers, our Studio suite offers everything you require to rejuvenate and return to the onboard excitement.
The Studio suite is designed for a single guest and provides approximately 99 square feet of space. Included amenities encompass 24-hour room service and access to the Studio Lounge.
Norwegian Cruise Payments & Refunds
To reserve your cabin and lock in the final price, you will be required to place a deposit on your cruise. After you have placed a deposit to secure your reservation, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of your fare at the final payment due date.

All cruise passengers, including third through eight passengers, must pay the deposit set forth in the following table for the applicable cruise within the option period offered on the cruise at the time of booking and must pay the final payment within the time prescribed in the table for the applicable cruise. Group passenger policies may differ. An additional deposit may be required for holiday sailings.

Once payment is applied to the reservation, you will be unable to change the credit card used for payment after 24 hours. Reservations will be subject to cancellation fees according to the below schedule.

Cancellation Fees on Cruise Fares, Air Add-Ons, Land Packages, Ground Transfers and Other Add-On Charges
Cancellation fees for cruise, air, land and other charges will follow the schedule above and apply to all guests on the reservation. Cancellation fees for air, land and other add-on charges will apply even if the reservation is not canceled in full. Gateway changes for air and name changes for cruise, air, land and other add-ons are considered cancellations. Cancellations must be telephoned to our Reservations Department by your travel agent. Depending on when the cruise is canceled, cancellation charges will be assessed as stated on the Cancellation Fee Schedule.
No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by any passenger after commencement of the cruise. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to Norwegian Cruise Line. Cruise tickets, air tickets, transfer coupons and/or vacation package vouchers must be returned before a refund can be made. Refund processing time is about 3-4 weeks. Air tickets issued by our Air/Sea Department for passengers on our Air/Sea programs are refundable only to Norwegian Cruise Line. Group passenger policies may differ. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Payment and Cancellation Policy is subject to change without notice.

- Cancellation fees for ground transfers will apply if removed within 21 days of the start of the sailing.
- Gateway changes, flight date changes and name substitutions are considered cancellations, and air cancellation fees will apply. Additionally, spelling corrections may be considered cancellations.
- Name substitutions and departure date changes for cruise, land and other add-ons are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees.
- The above schedule of cancellation fees will begin immediately once money has been applied to the reservation.
How do I pay for onboard expenses?
For your convenience, all shipboard expenses are charged to your Onboard account. Sign up when you check in, establishing your method of payment with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB Card, Diner’s Club. You may also use your debit card however please be advised that we obtain pre-authorization, as we do for all Credit Cards, and some banks hold these funds for up to 30 days. The maximum initial pre-authorization amount for all credit and debit cards is $300. Cash can also be used as a method of payment to settle your account with an initial deposit paid in advance.
Using your debit or ATM card
- Norwegian does not recommend the use of a debit card as payment for your onboard folio.
- Please be advised that multiple holds will be placed on your debit card account based on your onboard purchases.
- After settling your onboard folio, these debit card holds may remain on your account up to 30 days after the cruise ends.
- To avoid overdraft charges from your bank, please make sure that you have enough available funds in your account during this hold period.
- Norwegian will not be responsible for overdraft charges resulting from holds placed on Debit Card accounts.
Traveler’s Check / Cash Procedures
A cash deposit may be placed on your onboard account in the following amounts:
7 day cruises – $300 USD per person
Less than 7 days – $150 USD per person
More than 7 days – $450 USD per person
Once you have exceeded the deposited amount, your account will be closed to further charges. You can deposit as much money as often as you’d like throughout the cruise, however, refunds cannot be made until the day of disembarkation for any excess.
**Personal checks will not be accepted, nor can they be cashed on board.
Norwegian Escape Parking Information
Departure for Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape will be via Cruise Terminal 28. Parking can be found at one of several outdoor parking garages, covered parking lots, indoor parking garages, or the is also free cruise parking at one of the many cruise friendly hotels on the island. Simply arrive the day before departure and stay as a guest at their hotel and you can safely park your car with them until you return from your cruise.

Our Port of Galveston discount cruise parking allows cruise passengers to reserve a parking spot when sailing out of Galveston. With the pre-paid parking program, the Port is offering discounted parking rates for spots in the Port of Galveston’s official parking lots. Cruise passengers can secure a spot in advance through our online service and be sure to secure a worry free spot for parking near Galveston Cruise Port. This port parking can be used by Carnival Cruise parking. We value our customers and so if you Park by the Ports, it is safe cruise parking.
