East Beach is the party beach of Galveston Island. Famous for its great entertainment, it also offers a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, volleyball courts, soccer fields, jet ski rentals and parking on the beach.Â
Babe’s Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Galveston. Located on a 10 mile stretch of the Galveston Seawall, Babe's Beach is open for sand, sun, and fun. Umbrella and Chair Rentals are available seasonally.
Down on the West end of Galveston Island, there are several places to dig your toes in the sand and lounge on the beach. Beach access parking is limited and may require a permit.
